Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management
The Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management manages the Admissions office and oversees achieving the College’s overarching strategic enrollment management goals. This individual manages recruiting and outreach for the College using various strategies to attract a diverse student body. The Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management will implement strategies designed to improve application generation and yield rates for accepted and enrolled students. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and provides general oversight for the administration and use of the Banner Admissions & Recruitment modules to achieve enrollment management goals. Master’s degree or higher required in related field; Progressive experience in a post-secondary setting required, preferably in a community college setting; Some knowledge and experience administering federal, state and private financial aid funding; Experience with the Banner integrated data system is highly desirable; Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of admissions and enrollment management; Keen understanding of integrated modules of marketing, communications, and brand management; Strong technology, media and communication skills; Demonstrated ability to lead change and monitor day-to-day and tactical implementation. Develop annual recruitment plan as part of the College’s Strategic Enrollment; Management plan including communication for various student populations and determining print and electronic publication needs; Assess strategies and analyze results of marketing and recruiting activities to ensure the College is focusing on successful strategies to attract and enroll students; Collaborate with academic and other departments to determine programmatic goals for enrollment; Develop a telecounseling program designed to establish connections and influence decisions to enroll; Develop a systematic campus visit program and tracking system to assess effectiveness of these efforts; Advise on matters regarding financial aid as they impact admissions, enrollment and retention; Maintain records of all Admissions applicants, to satisfy audit standards; Compile and provide relevant student enrollment data; Continuously evaluate the use of the Banner data system to ensure integrity of data and appropriate use of information; Support staff in providing quality customer service to students, prospective students and their families; Oversee and supervise all admissions operations and personnel; Coordinate admissions related services at all Mount Wachusett Community College campuses; Provide oversight for the administration of international student enrollment; Other duties as assigned.
