Position Summary: The Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy (tenure-track) is responsible for the management and administration of the program, including planning, evaluation, budgeting, selection of faculty and staff, maintenance of accreditation, and commitment to strategies for professional development.

Minimum Qualifications: Must hold a minimum of a master's degree awarded by an institution that is accredited by a regional accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE). The master's degree is not limited to a master's in occupational therapy. The program director must be initially certified occupational therapist or occupational therapist assistant who is licensed or otherwise regulated according to regulations in the state of Arkansas. Must have a minimum of 5 years of documented experience in the field of occupational therapy. This experience must include (a) clinical practice as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant, (b) administrative experience including but not limited to, program planning and implementation, personnel management, evaluation and budgeting, (c) understanding of and experience with occupational therapy assistants, and (d) at least 1 year of experience in a full time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level.
