This position works with faculty and staff to promote distance leaning, alternative learning delivery methods, develop online courses and provide faculty and student support services in the areas of instructional design and technology. This position will also promote and build continuing education programs and services to local communities, corporations, government agencies, and local businesses, customizing training programs to meet the individual needs of a diverse client base. Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology or related field from an accredited institution of higher education required; minimum of 3 years of online teaching or administrative experience in the field of distance learning or continuing education; in-depth understanding of learning management systems; proven experience in successful planning, creative problem-solving, and effective, entrepreneurial academic administration; demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and proactively accomplish objectives; and ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff from other areas of the college. Pay is commensurate with experience and expertise. Employee benefits package with health, dental, life, and disability insurance, plus tuition remission and 7% match on retirement contributions. Anticipated hiring range will be in the upper $40K to lower $50K.
