FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Philosophy at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor - Professional and Applied Ethics position beginning Fall Semester 2015.

Applicants must be prepared to teach courses in Business Ethics and other areas of Professional Applied Ethics, and coordinate the Business Ethics program. Applicants must have a commitment to research and participate in committee responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Ph.D. in Philosophy required
- Any area of specialization in Professional or Applied Ethics, specialization in Business Ethics strongly preferred
- Communication or Media Ethics competence desired
- Evidence of teaching excellence and of research abilities

COMPENSATION

$61,903 - $74,133; Commensurate with experience and credentials.
All appointments are subject to financial availability.
