Carleton College is seeking a Budget Director. Reporting to the Vice President and Treasurer, in collaboration with College leadership, faculty, and staff to develop an annual budget and a longer term financial model and forecast. The Budget Director uses their knowledge and information about expenditure patterns and funds availability to support and interact with the campus community broadly. The successful candidate must possess bachelor’s degree. A minimum 5 years of experience with financial analysis including cost-benefit, present valuing, econometric and financial modeling, and forecasting. The candidate must conduct business with a high level of integrity, a willingness to listen and communicate effectively with internal and external constituents. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience in not-for-profit management is strongly preferred. Prior experience in a higher education environment is desirable. Start Date: As soon as possible.
