Designs and teaches courses in Mechatronics. Plans, prepares, and follows an approved course of study with measurable objectives. Prepares instructional materials, including instructional packets, syllabi, tests, handouts, electronic presentations, visual aids, etc. Instructs, manages, and supervises students, individually and in groups, in the classroom using lectures, discussions, demonstrations, field trips, or other appropriate methods. Evaluates instruction and learning through written, verbal, practical, and performance testing. Maintains a student centered approach to education.

Graduation with a doctorate from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in refereed and other professional journals. Must have experience assessing student learning capabilities and learning styles and understand how to develop curriculum of assigned courses.
