Provides operational support for College registration operations.

- Advises students of academic and administrative requirements; assists with registration

- Interprets and communicates academic policies and procedures; provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas

- Compiles, generates and updates reports and surveys containing enrollment data

- Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

- Collaborates with other College and University offices to assist with resolutions of student registration and record problems

- May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining the Master Course File

- May monitor and revise the content of the Registrar's Office web pages and other communication materials

- Performs related duties as assigned.

The Registrar Coordinator will report directly to the Registrar and be responsible for coordinating various operational aspects of the Registrar's Office including:
- Assist with registration activities including, but not limited to, grade collection and modifications, publication of semester course offerings, classroom coordination and scheduling, final examination scheduling, and academic calendaring.
- Coordinate the record evaluation process and maintain curricular information necessary to produce degree audits for graduating students.
- Coordinate ordering, production, and distribution of diplomas and certificates.
- Review flow of data between CUNYfirst and other departmental applications and resources; assess, merge, and discard duplicate or inaccurate student records within CUNYfirst to ensure integrity of student data.
- Review and coordinate accuracy of student communications from the Registrar's office.
- Respond to student inquiries and ensure transcript and degree verification requests are resolved in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Comply with established management and legal requirements and policies regarding record release procedures, including the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and any other regulations pertaining to the confidentiality of student records.

Must be available to work evenings and weekends when needed.


Bachelor's Degree required.


Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
