Job Description Responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising operations and maintenance functions, including Building Maintenance and Mechanical Systems and Energy Management and Support Systems within the technologically enhanced LEED Platinum (potential Net-Zero) Moore School of Business 263,000 sq ft building; reports to the DMSB CFO/Director of Administrative Services. Monitors energy efficiencies and effectiveness within all areas of the building through use of comprehensive building management monitoring system to ensure constant, reliable, and cost-effective operations relating to HVAC mechanical, Energy Management Control systems (electrical power, chilled beam, non-renewable sources, water usages); oversees daily operations by planning, inspecting, verifying, communicating and working directly with Facilities to troubleshoot issues; monitors preventative and/or corrective measures to ensure optimal performance through the facility. Acts as building liaison with the Facilities Department.

Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in engineering or engineering related field and 3 years related experience, or bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering related field and 5 years related experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with innovative, state of the art, Building Management Systems (e.g., Johnson Controls Panoptix) Knowledge of central steam and chilled water distribution systems, HVAC mechanical systems; direct digitally controlled energy management systems Ability to write and interpret complex technical plans and reports; to communicate verbally and in writing with management, users, and other professionals/stakeholders Ability to organize and plan schedules and to problem solve; team building skills; and ability to manage multiple and complex duties concurrently; ability to perpetually monitor and make fact-based decisions; project a positive image which encourages high morale and best-practices related to facility use and ongoing energy efficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications Experience and knowledge of solar (photovoltaic systems); prior experience in leading or monitoring a Green Revolving Fund to prioritize and support sustainability and energy conservation work associated with electrical and mechanical systems.
