Position Summary: The Executive Director will offer program management and development of center programs which include: The National Resource Center, Foreign Language and Area Studies, Language Across the Curriculum programs, The European Union Center of Excellence; and the Transatlantic Masters program. The duties for this position will include writing grant proposals to support these and other center programs, as well as, reporting to grantors. The Executive Director will be expected to offer budget management for grants, while organizing and overseeing day-to-day center programs, such as workshops, conferences, and lecture series. The Executive Director must also supervise center staff and oversee web resources and development of center websites.

Education Requirements: Masters degree required in Modern European Studies or relevant field; Ph.D. or ABD preferred.

Qualification and Experience: At least two years of experience in a professional capacity in the field of international studies, teaching in the social sciences, budget management, grant proposal and research.
