Job Description:

Wittenberg University is seeking applicants for a part-time Assistant Distance and Cross Country Coach.  This is a part-time non-exempt position that does not offer benefits. 

The Assistant Coach will:

  • Assist the Head Coach with daily practices, organization, set-up, planning and the overall training of a large group of distance runners.
  • Assist with meet preparation, travel, meals, equipment, and lodging as necessary.
  • During the track season the Assistant Coach will assist with meet line-ups, entries, practice planning, and provide general guidance for distance runners. 


Cross Country experience and coaching at the high school, college, or club level is preferred.
