Admissions Coordinator Reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions, Director of Admissions, and the Associate Dean for Admissions, the Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for the following: • Manage BS/MD application processing: o Includes multiple steps in an online application system. o Coordinate the receipt of BSMD applications with undergraduate admissions. o Create BS/MD application in online system. o Upload supporting documents. o Maintain Master list of BS/MD applications with statuses and communication history. o Generate documents used for interviews. • Assist with facilitating the overall admissions process by completing various tasks each day, including: updating admissions statuses in multiple software systems, sending confirmation emails, generating materials needed during interview days, and other assignments as required. • Provide phone, email, walk-in and field technical support to applicants and admissions committee members for issues associated with the admissions process. • Counsel prospective applicants via phone and in person meetings. • Upload supporting documents, photos, and supplemental applications. Update applicant’s application with thank you emails or other updates using our application system, AMP. • Assist with interview days, Revisit Weekends, Open Houses and other recruitment events. (Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.) • Assist the Assistant Director of Admissions in coordinating recruitment events, maintaining the recruitment database, and coordination of packing/shipping materials. • Collaborate with Director of Budget to ensure the Office’s expenses comply with School’s requirements; order new marketing materials; complete check requests as needed. • Support the Assistant Director, Director, and Associate Dean of Admissions as needed. Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have experience working in an admission’s office setting and have the following knowledge, skills, and personality traits: • Bachelor’s degree required. • Knowledge of computer databases, including Banner, and able to learn new software quickly. • Proficient user of Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Works quickly yet meticulously in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly. • Professional communication skills. • Works well within a team. • Flexibility.
