Under the supervision of the Employee Relations Manager, the HR Coordinator will analyze and perform all duties relating to the collection, analyzing, and reporting of compensation and contracts. This position will also have orientation and exit interview responsibilities. • Coordinate, collect, and/or prepare various reports such as salary surveys, contract information and employee compensation data. • Perform the hiring entry for all Board Appointed Staff position. • Update compensation information related to employee job records. • Administer and track staff Career Development. • Contact outside sources for benchmarking and information gathering to compile data for salary analysis, salary appeals, job descriptions, job reclassifications, and equity analysis. • Conduct Exit Interviews and create analysis. • Function as the Human Resource Liaison to College of Lake County staff for all questions pertaining to contract administration and compensation issues. • Prepare information for the Monthly Board Book. • Prepare and track contracts to be sent to all employees. • Maintain knowledge of and act according to the College policies and the contracts of the bargaining units. • Maintain accurate personnel files in Image Now for compensation and contract documents, actions and records. • Assist Employee Relations Manager on various Employee Relations issues as needed. • Assist in implementation and administration of College policies and procedures; update policy and procedure manuals as changes occur. • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. • Maintains company organization charts. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required qualifications - 1. Bachelor’s degree. 2. Experience collecting, charting, analyzing, and reporting of compensation and contracts. 3. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. 4. The ability to interface and work collaboratively with various departments and employee groups is essential. 5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Desired Qualifications - Additional Human Resource Generalist experience preferred. College experience is also preferred.
