Assistant/early Associate Professor of American Government and Politics
The Government Department at Claremont McKenna College invites applications for one full-time, tenure-track position in American Government and Politics with a focus on one or more of the following subfields: state and local government, urban politics, campaigns and elections, political behavior/public opinion, public policy, public administration, public law, and American political development. Ability to teach introduction to American Politics will be expected. Experience in public policy or administration will be a plus. The appointment will be made at the assistant professor or early associate professor level, and will begin on July 1, 2015. Ph.D. in either political science or public policy will be considered.
