Admission Counselor/Assistant Director of Admission OFFICE OF UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION Rose Hill Campus Fordham University has an excellent reputation as a dynamic institution in the cultural heart of New York City. The Office of Undergraduate Admission at our Rose Hill campus is currently seeking an Admission Counselor/Assistant Director of Admission to join our dynamic and high-energy team of admission professionals. We seek an experienced, outgoing person who will be responsible for recruitment, application review and interviewing of traditional age undergraduates. Responsibilities will include attending college fairs, recruitment events and running on-campus workshops/information sessions; participating in freshman admission committees as well as developing and executing recruitment strategies. The successful candidate will also be in charge of special projects, which may include working with special populations; managing students; writing for the web and/or programming of events. This highly pro-active, people-oriented role involves extensive interaction with various academic departments, faculty, alumni, students, and supporting staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in undergraduate admission, plus a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree strongly preferred. The successful candidate will exhibit energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, pay attention to detail, and possess a superior ability to multi task and focus. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Driver’s license required. Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
