Director of V-OPSS Facility

The Director manages, coordinates, and monitors the work activity of a unit(s) or department; develops program goals and objectives; prepares or assists in the preparation of annual operating budgets; evaluates and interprets personnel actions and policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Responsible for the management of mail-order and central-fill Pharmacy services.
•Responsible for the safety, quality and efficiency of mail-order and central-fill services.
•Ensure that mail-order and central-fill services meet or exceed financial performance expectations.
•Ensure outstanding customer service.
•Develop the vision for mail-order and central-fill services in concert with Retail Pharmacy operations.
•Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines &/or requirements.
•Establish policies and procedures for operational areas of responsibility.
•Establish, monitor and report key performance metrics &/or analytics.
•Implement and maintain a program of continuous quality improvement
•Work in a collaborative manner with other Pharmacy Directors, managers and stakeholders to maximize  mail-order and central-fill services.
•Maintain close, collaborative working relationships with other Pharmacy Directors and managers.
•Ensure that mail-order and central-fill employees receive the initial and ongoing training required to meet performance expectations.
•Ensure that the V-OPSS Facility is secured and appropriately maintained.
•Ensure the healthy and safety of staff working in the V-OPSS Facility.
•Provide educational/training facilities and programs that meet the needs of Departmental operational managers.

Basic Qualifications

Job requires Bachelor's and 8 years of experience or the equivalent.

Must be a licensed Pharmacist.
Multiple years of experience in managing mail-order &/or central-fill facilities highly desirable.
Experience with automated mail-order &/or central-fill systems highly desirable.
Advanced degree and Residency highly desirable.
Entrepreneurial background highly desirable.
