Job Description: This position is a time limited grant funded position. The incumbent will be responsible for providing mental health services in a nurse-managed, rural primary health care clinic serving a low income population. He/she will participate in an interprofessional model of care and provide expertise in evaluation and treatment of patients with complex medical conditions. Primary responsibilities will be to provide mental health therapy and medication management to patients. The incumbent will work in collaboration with an interprofessional team to provide quality care to this patient population. He/she will contribute their expertise to developing an individualized patient plan of care and will work with the team to facilitate the implementation of the care model. He/she will participate in monthly team meetings, monitor project outcomes, and provide suggestions for changes in patient care and improvements in the care model. Incumbent will work with students and precepting graduate level students.

Minimum Requirements: Current license in the state of Florida, a master's degree in nursing and certification in Psychiatric Mental Health required. One year experience as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required.

Preferred Qualifications: Preparation in Doctoral education preferred.
