Job Description Maintenance support and day-to-day running of a variety of instruments devoted to organic analysis, including a GC Isolink-IRMS, GC, GC/MS, and HPLC. Previous experience with isotope ratio mass spectrometry is not necessary, but a background in analytical chemistry, gas chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography and/or trace analysis of any kind would be beneficial. Preference will be given to individuals with a track record and combination of skills in laboratory management, instrument troubleshooting, data handling, method development, collaborative research projects, and lab user training.

Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a related field and 1 year related research experience, or bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years related research experience; or high school diploma and 7 years related research experience.

Preferred Qualifications 1) Research experience in analytical chemistry or Earth science 2) experience with gas chromatography 3) experience with isotope ratio mass spectrometry 4) experience in any of the following: laboratory management, instrument troubleshooting, data handling, method development, collaborative research projects, and lab user training.
