Posting Description: University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Director of Assessment (Instructor or Assistant/Associate Professor) The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science is seeking applicants for a full-time, 12 month, non-tenure track faculty position as the Director of Assessment. This position will provide leadership, oversight, and direct support for program assessment activities for the purpose of assuring institutional effectiveness and systematic improvement aligned with ACPE accreditation standards, university program reviews and university accreditation. The director will work collaboratively and constructively with the Assessment Committee, faculty members and key administrators to address comprehensive assessment needs. More specifically, this faculty position has the primary responsibility for providing leadership and oversight for developing, implementing, revising, and maintaining an effective and efficient plan to assess activities and achievements within the Entry-level PharmD, North American-Trained PharmD, International-Trained PharmD and Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Outcomes graduate programs as well as for other programmatic activities of the school; in collaboration with the Assessment Committee and faculty members on other school committees, develop and implement systematic outcomes assessment plans, modify the existing program assessment plans, and identify and refine measurement tools; analyze and summarize relevant data and effectively communicate that information to stakeholders; focus on both general and discipline-specific outcomes utilizing formative and summative, demographic and analytic, qualitative and quantitative, direct and indirect, and cross-sectional and longitudinal methods and data; work with faculty in admissions, awards and scholarships, continuing pharmacy education, curriculum, distance degrees and programs, experiential education, scholastic advancement and appeals and student ethics and conduct committees to design, collect, analyze, and report assessment data to meet ACPE accreditation requirements for assessment of student learning and program effectiveness, and to improve overall learning; track individual student performance data in meeting ACPE accreditation requirements; collaborate with the Office of Institutional Research to produce institutional data at the program level that will inform analysis of program effectiveness (e.g., program admissions and retention data, course grade analysis) for the professional program; and lead in the development, implementation and analysis of assessment of units within the school for effectiveness in meeting their objectives to help the school best meet its mission and goals. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Master's degree in health sciences, social/behavioral science, education or a closely related field with two years of experience in assessment and program evaluation.

Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Desired Qualifications: A doctoral degree in the above named fields or a closely related field, and assessment and program evaluation experience in higher education or in the health professions is preferred.
