Duties: Reporting to the Director of the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts, duties include assisting patrons, managing special projects (including Aeon Implementation, Strategic Planning, Usage Statistics, The Gotham Special Collection selection), developing departmental policies, and the financial management of special projects. Coordinate, write and edit annual reports and grants generated by the Kislak Center. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Kislak Center, manage the physical space (including room allocation and climate, maintenance, and security issues), and supervise 2 employees, interns, and part-time student workers. Administer systems designed to support patron needs and coordinate team meetings with the purpose of improving workflows and enhancing the patrons' research experience.
Qualifications: Master's Degree or more and at least 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
