Primary Responsibilities

Lab Assistant will help language students access audio materials in the World Languages and Literatures Language Lab and copy CDs for students and faculty. He/she will also check out materials to faculty and maintain Lab rules. The Assistant will occasionally help beginner/intermediate students with homework, within Assistant's area of language study.


Lab Assistant needs to have taken at least two semesters of a language at NKU and needs to have basic computer knowledge. Preference will be given to students who have taken at least one language at or above the 201 level. A short training session is available at the beginning of each semester. Interested students must fill out an online student employment application.
