Location:
Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill, California

Job Group: Adjunct Faculty

Hourly Salary: $57.96 - $ 81.90

Job Duties: Provide course instruction in English classes in accordance with course outlines.

Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s in English, literature, comparative literature, or
composition OR
• Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR
• The equivalent

Desirable Qualifications: Substantial formal training, experience, and interest in the teaching of reading and composition. Ability to work with a diverse student population.
