Position Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator at the Kostas Research Institute (KRI) will provide administrative support to the newly formed Institute as it relates to faculty, staff, students, alumni and corporate partners.

As the point of contact for KRI, this position will provide general administrative support to the Directors, all staff, and visitors. The individual will provide a comprehensive range of administrative and organizational services to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Administrative Coordinator provides critical skills in office support; and will be responsible for daily office operations, event planning, communication and correspondence with campus offices and departments, security staff and security protocols, coordination of meetings, development of communications materials and data support. Other responsibilities also include maintaining supplies/office equipment, etc. as needed.

This position requires strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects; excellent interpersonal communication skills. This individual must be self-motivated, able to manage workload independently, possess good time management skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software. Individual must have the ability to work with confidential information using good judgment and discretion at all times.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 – 5 years related administrative experience, executive setting required. Individual must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. Must be able to multi-task, work independently, be detail oriented, as well as exercise discretion and judgment in areas of responsibility. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and web skills. Preferred candidate would be extremely flexible, patient, adaptable and capable of establishing priorities and timelines. This position requires a criminal background check. Must be capable of meeting federal requirements, including background investigations, for federal security clearance.
