Director of Evaluation

Position Summary: Responsibilities include expert consultation and assistance in evaluation policies and practices; faculty development; performance of and support for faculty in educational research, including grant writing, conduct of investigations, and preparation of outcome reports; program evaluation; and collaborations in special programs for minority and disadvantaged students in preparation for careers in health care. The director participates on curriculum committees and responds to official requests for accountability for educational outcomes, including management of correspondence with and visits by the LCME. This role is a key part of the highly integrated and collaborative OME management team.
Education Requirements: PhD or EdD and significant experience in curriculum and evaluation techniques and educational grant-writing in a medical school. MD considered if curriculum evaluation experience is exceptional.
Qualification and Experience: Candidate should have formal psychometric training and significant experience in curriculum and evaluation techniques and educational grant-writing in a medical school. Must possess strong project management skills as well as the ability to understand complex problems and approach them with pragmatic solutions.
