The Assistant Dean of Executive Education at Boston University's School of Management (SMG) is responsible for establishing the strategy, and managing and implementing a wide range of activities related to the Executive Leadership Center (ELC) including maintaining existing, and developing new corporate client relationships to ensure the successful execution of all custom executive education programs. The incumbent will work closely with faculty to develop courses, teaching modules, and materials, and will be accountable for ensuring broad faculty participation and overall financial performance. The Assistant Dean will be responsible for establishing growth strategies for customized executive education and implementing business development strategies that yield high quality corporate clients, and expand enrollment in custom programs. In addition, he/she will ensure exceptional customer focus in ELC operations, overseeing the provision of client support services and develop curriculum and content to achieve learning outcomes established with clients. The incumbent will also monitor client satisfaction indices, including instructor and course evaluations, program evaluations, and benchmarking surveys, and makes changes as appropriate.

Required Skills

Master's Degree, PhD preferred. Minimum of eight to ten years of progressive experience working with executives in a an academic setting, marketing, customer relations, curriculum planning, customizing programs for client needs. Must be a strategic planner who can readily change course based on the needs of the target audience.
