About The Unit: The Medical Education Office at the University of Chicago's Department of Radiology manages the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program as well as three ACGME-accredited radiologysubspecialty fellowship training programs and two non-ACGME fellowship programs. The Medical Education Office also manages a large component of the combined Medicine/Radiology clerkship and electives for the Pritzker School of Medicine students at the University of Chicago.

Unit Job Summary: The Graduate Medical Education Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the ACGME Diagnostic Radiology residency program, oversight of the five fellowship training programs, and management of the Radiology GME office staff. The Administrator assists the Program Director in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training programand ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements. The Administrator functions as a liaison between the Program Director, residents/fellows, GME Office, participating sites, and other departments, and must be knowledgeable about patient care/operational activities at the various training sites in which their residents/fellows rotate. 20% The Administrator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the radiology residency program & 5 fellowship programs. Works with Program Directors to enforce ACGME requirements, UCMC GME policies and procedures, and develop program policies and procedures based on external requirements. 20% Administer the MedHub Residency Management System for the program, including maintaining resident/fellow demographics data; resident/fellow schedules, importing program and rotation goals and objectives; conferences attendance tracking; and ensuring timely completion of duty hours and evaluations. 20% Manage the annual resident recruitment and selection process; also collaborates with PD, to establish policies and procedures for candidate recruitment. 10% Manage all educational activities that support the program's curriculum and adheres to ACGME requirements. 10% Manage accreditation activities including ACGME Site Visits, Internal Reviews, annual program reviews, etc. 10% Manage all aspects of the housestaff payroll in Oracle (new hires, extra service payments, terminations, etc) 5% Assist the PD and faculty in planning, developing, and implementing residency/fellowship program quality improvement projects. 5% Provides guidance to residents on program and GME policies, and non-clinical aspects of the program.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of progressively responsible administrative experience OR a minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field preferred.

Unit Experience: Supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with an ACGME training program preferred. Project management experience preferred.
