Reporting to the Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director, the Coordinator, Annual Fund for Athletics will assist in planning and coordinating projects and events related to solicitation of gifts of up to $25,000 from alumni, friends, parents, and university faculty and staff. The Coordinator will also establish working relationships with other Institutional Advancement professionals across the university and will work closely with coaches and non-coach staff within the department of Athletics, as well as other members of the University's community. The Coordinator, Annual Fund for Athletics performs other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of directly related experience; experience selecting, managing and developing staff; experience cultivating, soliciting and closing gifts of up to $25,000; proficiency with Excel and Access. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills and Abilities: *Demonstrated ability to assist with administering departmental operating budget. *Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and sustain relationships with diverse groups of constituencies inside and outside of the university. *Demonstrated ability to assist with strategic planning for the athletics annual fund. *Must possess strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Preferred: Fund raising in a higher education environment. Familiarity of the Philadelphia community as well as educational organizations in the area.
