Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance
As a principal administrative and fiscal advisor to the chancellor, the VCAF is an active member of the executive team, supports and enhances the academic infrastructure, leads the implementation of service operations which reflect the institution's commitment to intellectual, cultural and social diversity, and respect for the collegial nature of governance in higher education. In addition, this leader provides visionary and strategic leadership in evaluating the university's assets for maximum return, and leads a service-oriented culture that provides the highest caliber of service to the institution's many constituencies. Leading in the development of planning and evaluation of the university's budget, the VCAF works toward inclusiveness in the process and ensures a balanced budget with expenditures that are aligned with decisive priorities. Operational Responsibilities • Financial Planning, Budgets & Reporting • Cash Management • Facilities Management • Purchasing & Contracts Administration • Business & Auxiliary Services • Capital Expenditures and Implementation • University Police EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration required and must have a minimum 15 years of experience in various financial management positions with progressive management experience or MBA/MSA with a minimum of 10 years of experience in various financial management positions with progressive management experience or CPA or terminal degree.
