$21.04 per hour

Working Hours
One temporary position, 20 - 25 hours per week (may be day and/or evening and Saturdays), to support lab sections which are scheduled on the main Oceanside campus. The person selected for this position may be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation.

Basic Function and Other Details
Under the direction of an instructor, assist in the preparation of classroom and lab materials and demonstrations; operate, distribute and demonstrate instruments, supplies and equipment; tutor students and correct student work.

Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:

1. Equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in chemistry or related field;


2. One year of closely related work experience. (NOTE: a "year" is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months, or at least 2,080 hours.)

Desirable Qualifications
One year of college-level coursework in chemistry.
