This position is with the University Business Administrator's Program within the department of Undergraduate Studies.

Personnel Representative for the Division of Undergraduate Studies maintaining and processing all personnel actions, monitoring biweekly payroll actives and cost center reports to ensure all appointments are accurately reflected and paid; maintaining Division personnel files in compliance with Federal, State and University laws, policies and guidelines. Prepares and processes Classification actions. Serves as a backup for the Center for Academic Retention & Enhancement (CARE) in the above mentioned functions.
Responsible for reception duties for the Dean's Office suite that includes answering phone, greeting, and/or directing visitors, students, and parents to appropriate offices.
Responsible for assisting UGS department heads with recruiting, including entering job openings with appropriate information and monitoring hiring process to completion in compliance with Federal, State and University policies. Assists new employees with completing paperwork. Serves as backup for CARE in these functions.
Responsible for monitoring OMNI time entry and approvals for the Division of Undergraduate Studies to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for conducting and maintaining termination check lists for all employees in the Division. Serves as backup for CARE in these functions.
Responsible for entering and monitoring FACETS functions for the Division of Undergraduate Studies. Serves as backup for CARE in these functions.

A high school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Previous customer service experience.

Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related University policies and procedures.

Ability to perform work accurately in a detail oriented environment.

Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience compiling data and preparing reports.

Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook or comparable software.

Experience in an office setting.
