Department of Athletics - Administration
Responsible for coordinating the activities of the two Deputy Directors of Athletics (maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, securing locations).
Responsible for greeting visitors, answering calls and questions related to Athletics or routing to the appropriate department/individual. Office location is the first point of contact for visitors to the Administrative Suite, so responsibilities will include routing visitors to the appropriate area and maintaining the professional appearance of the Suite area.
Assists in the preparation of correspondence, research, meeting materials, and special projects for Athletics Administrators.
Assists in the planning, promotion and organization of departmental special events as well as meetings for the Executive Staff including securing location, determining catering needs, preparing materials, and tracking various expenditures. Manages invitations and responses and other essential event coordination.
A high school diploma or equivalent and two years relevant experience. Proficient experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher) or comparable software.
Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Ability to work scheduled hours to include evening and weekend hours.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
