Job Description Summary/Essential Duties:

Plans and directs activities and programs designed to form educational partnerships between college and service area schools to support college recruitment, enrollment, retention, and community outreach. Functions as liaison with the District School Alliance office. Responsible for developing college awareness activities for middle and high school students. Creates and delivers information regarding college opportunities. Maintains primary contact between college and service area schools regarding college programs of study, student support services and personnel, policies and procedures. Represents the college to school and community personnel involved in programs to help high school students become prospective college students. Coordinates events designed to connect appropriate college and school activities that promote college educational and training opportunities. Develops college teams and projects for college outreach services to schools and community groups that work with schools and students. Develops, maintains, and monitors a variety of activities with the objective of forming college, school, and community partners. Reviews and determines priority for resources. Collaborates with college colleagues to deliver services. Performs related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree or higher plus three years of experience in community college student development services or Associate's degree or higher plus five years of experience in community college student development services. Ability to work with public school administrators, teachers, students and communicate effectively with colleges, universities, business, local and state government as well as the general public. Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, and generate reports. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The ability to provide quality customer service. Official transcripts will be required. *Will be subject to a criminal background check.*
