Director of International Recruitment

Southern New Hampshire University’s International Programs Office drives the process of international student recruitment, admissions, marketing, and development of global partnerships through a combination of frequent international travel, branding, marketing, and admissions activities.


We are seeking candidates for the position of Director of International Recruitment, reporting to the Associate Vice President of International Programs.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Meet international recruitment targets and develop international contacts to build a portfolio of university and corporate partners in Africa, the Middle East (including Saudi Arabia and Turkey) and Central Asia
 
  • Strategic recruitment planning
 
  • Oversight and management of SNHU’s lead generation vendor partnerships
 
  • Management of key educational consultant accounts
 
  • Support of international admissions processing
 

In addition, the incumbent will:


  • Effectively leverage SNHU’s CRM to manage enrollment funnels and International Program’s network of educational partners
 
  • Demonstrate strong market research skills and a working knowledge ofSEVIS immigration policies and practices
 
  • Exhibit a successful track record of recruitment in past positions, with particular emphasis on the Middle Eastern market
 
  • Travel abroad extensively (20-25% of the year) for recruitment activities
 
  • Work independently with little direct supervision
 
  • Manage a marketing and recruitment budget

The successful applicant must have:


  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
 
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in international education with an emphasis on student recruitment
 
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate with international students, parents, and educational agents
 
  • Experience working with governmental sponsored student initiatives
 
  • The ability to successfully and effectively collaborate with a diverse population of teammates, business partners and stakeholders
 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, reasoning and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; demonstrated interpersonal and written communications skills, as well as, strong computer literacy (MS products and enrollment management platforms)
 
  • Knowledge of foreign educational credential systems
