SENIOR ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Duties: The Senior Associate Director (Sr. AD) instructs, counsels, and advises MBA students on long-term career development as well as immediate job search objectives for full-time MBA positions and summer internships within specific industries or sectors that may include any of the following: Consulting, Consumer Products, Diversified Financial Services, Energy, Health Care, Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity, Public Interest, Real Estate, Retail, Technology / Telecom, Travel & Hospitality, Venture Capital. This position will direct his/her Recruiting Relationship Manager(s) in developing a strategic plan for maintaining the office's quick response to changes in the economy and to changes in the students' industry choices. The SAD will also work with their industry RRM(s) to broaden corporate relationships within their industries. The SAD will work closely with a number of important internal and external groups including faculty, students, employers, and alumni to achieve the goals of Career Management. Finally, the SAD will contribute to content and execution of a number of important projects including the student resume processes, mock interviews, trek management, web design and a number of other student related programs.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA or other graduate degree strongly preferred along with a minimum of five to seven years of prior work experience in recruiting, job placement, career counseling or coaching and/or significant industry experience in one or more of the following industries: Consulting, Consumer Products, Diversified Financial Services, Energy, Health Care, Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity, Public Interest, Real Estate, Retail, Technology / Telecom, Travel & Hospitality, Venture Capital. Highly motivated and dedicated individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous managerial experience required, along with an ability to work as a strong team player. Able to interact across multiple levels, and willingness to go above and beyond in order to achieve the required goals. Deep knowledge of business and business careers, and strong written and oral communication skills, are essential. Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally.
