Posting Description: The successful candidate is expected to teach nutrition classes as well as core health science classes in our established undergraduate Health Science Programs and engage in professional, departmental, and university activities. Knowledge of advanced nutrition principles, application of clinical nutrition as well as health behavior change, methods of health communication, and diversity and cultural impacts on health and wellness, is highly desired. Minimum Qualifications: M.S. in Nutrition or closely related field (e.g. health promotion, public health, exercise science) with specific teaching experience in nutrition and health related areas. Experience teaching in both face-to-face and online environments highly desired.

Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The positions require experience teaching undergraduate students in face-to-face or online environments. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in the area of nutrition. Candidates with experience teaching in nutrition should be able to teach courses like personal nutrition, nutrition for health professionals, sports nutrition, and/or advanced macro/micro-nutrient metabolism. The candidate will also be able to teach one or more of the following Health Science courses in addition to courses in their area of expertise: Personal Fitness and Wellness, Health Behavior Change, Health Communication, Culture and Health. The ability to work independently and collaboratively with other faculty, demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to quality student education are highly desired.

Desired Qualifications: Terminal degree (e.g., PhD, EdD) in Nutrition. Registered Dietitian (RD) is highly desired
