Founded in 2005, Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is the 31st member of the University System of Georgia. GGC is a premier 21st century four-year liberal arts institution accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Reporting to the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services, the Staff Psychologist's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide initial assessments, as well as individual, group, and couples counseling
- Provide crisis intervention and on-call coverage
- Provide preventative and educational outreach to campus community
- Establish liaisons with various campus organizations and groups
- Serve in a consulting role to faculty, staff, and parents
- Supervise practicum and/or postdoctoral fellow
- Participate in seminars and training activities
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with local mental health professionals to coordinate treatment services and referrals
- Participate as a team member in the Division of Student Affairs
- Perform other duties as assigned

Individuals must have a doctorate and be licensed as a psychologist by the date of employment or have completed all supervised postdoctoral hours and issued a provisional license by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists by the date of employment.
Previous experience in a college or university Counseling and Psychological Services. Licensed as a psychologist for 3 years. Experience working with diverse populations and historically underserved populations. Experience in developing and implementing preventative mental health outreach programming and training.
