Under the supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director, Development, this position is responsible for overseeing the department's annual giving program; assist with gift processing, record keeping, new donor identification, annual giving donor cultivation, benefit fulfillment and all other aspects for the annual giving (Anteater Athletic Fund) program.
Salary: Range $43,672.00
Work Schedule: 8-5, M-F some nights/weekends
some evenings and weekends required

Job Essential Function 1
Percent of Time: 60%
Assist with planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of annual giving program that expands the base of support for Intercollegiate Athletics.
Solicit gifts from potential donors for the annual giving program and continually work towards increase membership of and participation in the AAF .
Coordinate and plan meetings for Anteater Athletic Fund (AAF) board as needed to augment and support fundraising activities
Oversee the planning and operation of membership drives and renewals for annual giving, call-a-thon, thank-a-thon, alumni solicitations and parent solicitations
Processing of gifts into the central database (Paciolan) to track donor information and benefit fulfillment. Manage and update donor database: run reports, weekly donation transfers, and oversee the thank you letter process.
Track gifts made in coordination with Director of Ticketing for season ticket purchases and renewals.
Keep annual donors aware of priority point standing and regulations regarding post-season play and re-seating opportunities.
Act as consultant and educator of coaches regarding the processes of the development office and the annual giving schedule and campaigns throughout the year.
Manage scholarship donations by creating scholarship portfolios for donors and arranging one-on-one stewardship lunches with recipients and donors.
Job Essential Function 2
Percent of Time: 20%
Manage and develop communications materials (editing, writing, designing and distribution) for AAF including annual brochure, pledge card, emails, and cultivation/stewardship materials on an on-going basis to inform donors and prospective donors of needs and accomplishments of UCI Athletics department.
Maintain annual giving pages on the development website with current from donors.
Notify and work with sports information on various social media outlets and notifications for donors.
Job Essential Function 3
Percent of Time: 10%
Serve as a representative of the Athletic Department and development office at fundraising events (Scott Brooks Golf Tournament and the Salute to Scholar-Athlete Banquet) and home games where it is critical to provide appropriate services, hospitality, and assistance to donors and fans.

Attend occasional University Advancement meetings
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Experience Requirements: 3-4 years experience in university development, athletics annual giving, fund-raising or special events. Employee is required to have excellent communication, superior writing skills, strong planning and organizational skills, high degree of professionalism, and integrity. Candidate must have the ability to work some nights and weekends.
Computer Proficiencies: Individual must have knowledge and the ability to use computer technology effectively for record keeping, and communications. Require working proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prefer experience with Advance and Paciolan database management system.
