St. Norbert College has an opening for an International Recruiter responsible for strategically organizing and implementing an international recruitment plan for international students. This includes: • Travel planning, coordination, and leading/attending international recruitment trips and tours that include, but are not limited to: international recruitment fairs, international high school visits, college fairs, regional and national conferences and other venues. • Establishing and maintaining contact with all international enrollment prospects and families through email, social media, personal notes, and phone calls to increase applications, acceptance, and yield rates. • Establishing and maintaining external contact with education professionals and agents who will assist in generating international students' interest in SNC. • Determining admissibility and scholarship eligibility for applicants. • Being fluent in SEVIS regulations and immigration laws and policy to explain processes to international prospective students. Will act as Designated School Officer (DSO), as needed. • Assisting in the development and updating of international student recruitment materials (including view books, applications, financial aid brochures, etc.), ads for overseas publications, marketing messages and other material for recruitment. • Designing web-based social media and high-tech global marketing initiatives. • Expanding international alumni relations programs and developing international student-based enrollment advisory committee to create or refine new ideas. The International Recruiter will report to the Associate Academic Dean for Global Affairs. MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS: Education required: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international education, international studies, international relations, marketing, etc. Certification/License required: Driver's License and Passport Experience required: • The equivalent of at least two years of professional work experience in international recruitment, international admissions, or relevant international student services. • Experience living or working abroad. • Experience in implementing strategies to meet specific recruitment goals and the ability to use initiative and resourcefulness in planning work assignments and implementing long-range program recommendations. • Demonstrated marketing experience to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. • A focus on Asia is desirable, but not required. Skills required: Must have knowledge of international student recruitment and marketing and strong organizational skills; and be able to communicate effectively, travel extensively domestically and internationally, speak more than one language, work collaboratively with various internal departments (International Programming, Admissions, Financial Aid, etc.), and set and meet recruitment goals. Other: U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Residency (LPR/Green Card) needed to access SEVIS.
