Assistant Director of Institutional Research and Assessment
Cornell College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month assistant director of institutional research and assessment. The assistant director will assist the director in the day-to-day operation of Institutional Research and Assessment; coordinate data management efforts; coordinate the College’s external reporting efforts; design and implement research studies, particularly those pertaining to student retention and success; assist with College assessment activities; and support the overall institutional research effort. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an area related to institutional research (e.g., psychology, sociology, economics, etc.) and comparable data management, analysis and reporting experience are required. Enrollment in a relevant master's degree program (e.g., educational measurement and statistics, higher education, psychology, sociology, etc.) will be considered in lieu of years of experience. Master's degree in relevant field and experience in research methodology, statistics, and assessment practices are preferred.
