This is a fast-paced environment that demands excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to manage multiple competing demands. *What your key responsibilities will be:* * As a Program Assistant II you will provide budgetary and programmatic support to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Services and Director of Financial Aid for all Enrollment Services Offices. * This position resolves and advises on complex problems, by investigating, analyzing, interpreting and adapting information and has the authority to make decisions within the limits and objective set by the Assistant Vice Chancellor/Director and the guidelines set by various systems and policies and procedures such as those established by the Board of Regents and State of Colorado Fiscal and Personnel Rules. * Using professional judgment and general guidance, manages and redirects inquiries made to the Assistant Vice Chancellor/Director to assist in resolving a variety of situations. * This position is responsible for implementing physical organizational changes by determining best outcomes for the office based on feedback and input from outside contractors. * This position is responsible for purchasing activities including requisitions for large dollar amount items and expense vouchers. This position oversees all personnel actions for classified staff, professional exempt and temporary employees. Minimum Qualifications: *What we require:* *Must be a current Colorado resident in order to apply.* Five years of progressively responsible general clerical or administrative service experience. Substitution: College, university or non-correspondence business school course work may substitute on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the general experience but not the specific experience. *If using education as a substitution, please attach a copy of your transcript.*
