Adjunct Instructor - Introduction to Art
The College of Arts and Sciences at National Louis University seeks qualified professionals for adjunct teaching positions for the undergraduate course Introduction to Art. In this course, students study of the structure and organizing principles of art, studio problems in two-dimensional and three-dimensional design. Students are also introduced to the basic concepts of art history: chronology, stylistic development, and iconography related to the historical context.
This course will be offered on Saturdays from 1:30 – 3:25 P.M. at our Chicago campus beginning on September 20, 2014.
Master’s degree plus 30 semester hours in relevant field of study are required. Highly qualified candidates will have demonstrated teaching excellence, experience teaching a diverse group of working adults. Applicants should also have experience in online teaching platforms, and in developing courses and materials.
