Job Description: The Department of Radiology of the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, seeks a full-time faculty member at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. This position's requirements include an M.D. or DO degree and Board Certification in diagnostic radiology and fellowship training in breast imaging required. Clinical responsibilities include overseeing diagnostic mammography, screening mammography, ultrasound, needle localization, core biopsy, and breast MRI. In addition, clinical expertise and participation in general imaging would be required. Teaching responsibilities include but are not limited to patient care, research, and teaching graduate and postgraduate students, as well as educational activities within the Department of Radiology. This includes conference presentations, tutorial sessions and formal lectures, both within and outside of the Department of Radiology. Clinical services will be performed primarily in a teaching setting with resident or medical student supervision and participation. Research activities will be integrated within the Department of Radiology, on an individual and collective basis. The candidate must have a license to practice in the State of Florida and meet the qualifications for a full-time faculty position at the University of Florida College of medicine, Jacksonville.
