Centre of Commerce and Management At present, the Centre has 160 members of staff and 3,500 students. This Centre is the largest of three faculties at RMIT Vietnam providing academic leadership in relevant discipline areas in Vietnam in the Asia region. The Centre of Commerce and Management at RMIT Vietnam is part of RMIT’s College of Business. The Position This senior role will be employed as Associate Professor/Professor in accordance with RMIT's academic selection criteria and will be appointed to Head of Department, Post Graduate Programs within the Centre of Commerce and Management. This position will work closely with the Director Undergraduate Programs and the Director Post Graduate Programs in the College of Business and be responsible for providing academic leadership of the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) component of our Postgraduate degrees. Critical to the success of this role will be the ability to contribute to the Centre and University strategy by working with staff to lead planning, development, rationalisation and implementation of effective postgraduate programs to achieve a quality learning experience for students and staff. The Person The successful incumbent will have significant experience leading and developing post graduate programs in a dynamic, high profile environment. You will be PhD qualified with significant knowledge and achievements in a relevent field to meet RMIT's criteria for this level of appointment. You will have up to date knoweldge of development in higher education, in particular supporting higher degrees by research students and a demonstrated approach to introducing innovations that enhance the student experience. In addition, you will have strong links with industry and extensive networks with proven capacity to utilise for the benefit of graduate outcomes.
