Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants for Assistant Teaching Professor with a focus in Event and Meeting Management or a related tourism or management field such as entrepreneurship, must have either (1) a doctoral degree in the teaching area completed by August 1, 2014 or (2) a master's degree in the relevant teaching area and professional experience of at least five years in duration which is current, substantial in terms of level of responsibility and clearly linked to the field of teaching.

All applicants must demonstrate teaching excellence as well as a minimum of one year full time equivalent practical experience documented by letters of reference and teaching evaluations.


Advertised Salary: Commensurate with the qualifications.
Other Benefits:

Salary and benefits are competitive. This is an academic year appointment. There are opportunities for teaching and administrative assignments during the summer session. The successful applicant is expected to actively participate in non-teaching service activities in the School.
