Position Summary: The Director will provide administrative, educational and curricular leadership for the PhD program in the College of Nursing; assure appropriate student, faculty and program evaluation; teach in area of expertise; collaborate with the Associate Dean for Research to coordinate external funding, publications and scholarly activities of doctoral students in an environment of research integrity; mentor faculty in doctoral teaching and guidance of students; and represent the college in university and community relations.

PhD in Nursing or related field; a Master's in Nursing is required; eligible to obtain RN license in Michigan; establish research program and successful record of funding and scholarship; record consistent with appointment as tenured associate or full professor; and record of teaching, mentorship and dissertation guidance in doctoral education.
