Position Summary: Seeking candidate to perform desktop and server support for Microsoft operating system based computers with an emphasis on customer service; job will include installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software; basic to intermediate TCP/IP networking experience is involved in the setup and maintenance of workstations and servers; environment ranges from Dell desktops in client workspaces and offices to Dell servers hosted in a data center with some virtual servers hosted on Microsoft Hyper-V; the support environment is dynamic and candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning of future workstation/server based IT initiatives while maintaining day-to-day operations.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related information technology field; three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience supporting a Microsoft Windows server infrastructure and client server applicants running in that environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: Experience administering a Microsoft Windows desktop and server environment including workstations running Windows 7 and 8, and servers running Windows Server 2008 R2; hardware support of desktop computers and servers; Active Directory, Exchange Server 2010 maintenance experience; intermediate or better TCP/IP networking knowledge; time management skills while stressing customer service with client facing issues is a critical aspect of this position; ability to provide support for internal applications for growing number of users via phone, email, in-person, and instant messaging; experience using, installing, and troubleshooting various issues with Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013 with an emphasis on Outlook.
