Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma, or equivalent combination of training and experience, plus one year of relevant experience is necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

A minimum of one year or appropriate experience is preferred.
Solid customer service and communication skills and the ability to function within a team-oriented office environment
Previous experience working with BANNER other HRIS is highly desirable.
Knowledge of contemporary computer applications is desired.
Experience with I9 verification and Talx is desired

Special Instructions to Applicants:

Job Duties
  • Review requests for system data entry for correct approvals and authority. Performs data entry as indicated on approved requests.

  • Function:
  • Electronically uploads, scans, and indexes employee documents into an online document management system.

  • Function:
  • Prepares and/or processes human resources related forms and records including
    I-9 verifications, employment verifications, and unemployment claims.

  • Function:
  • Responds to inquiries via departmental email account.

  • Function:
  • Prepares and issues agendas, calendars, minutes, and other routine correspondence; may prepare more complex correspondence for review by supervisor or appropriate HR staff as assigned; sorts, screens and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Function:
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
