The position is responsible for data management of proposals, awards and expenditures for research funding, including generating reports and maintaining awards in the PeopleSoft system. Minimum Qualifications (Required): -Bachelor's Degree PLUS four years of experience in grant and contract administration environment -OR- -Associate's Degree PLUS six years of experience, in grant and contract administration environment -Previous extensive experience with Excel, to include v-lookup and pivot tables -The ability to work effectively with diverse groups -Previous experience with an Enterprise System (e.g. Oracle, Sun, Banner, or similar system, etc.) Other Considerations: -Experience with PeopleSoft -Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills -Ability to work independently -Ability to work well with many different personalities and work styles -Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills -Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy -Ability to perform complex formulas and create complicated, yet easy-to-navigate reports in spreadsheet format -Experience with Cayuse -Experience in a Higher Education setting Required Applicant Documents: (Online Submissions Only) -Resume -Cover Letter -Names and contact information of three references Special Instructions to Applicants: Only Internal Professional (SEIU 888 Professional Union) Bargaining candidates will be considered during the first 10 business days of the posting.
