Job Summary
The Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas in Denton invites applications for a three-year appointment as a lecturer in the Department of Strategic Communications (advertising and public relations) beginning Fall 2015. The lecturer will teach several sections of a class on computer applications used in journalism, advertising and public relations and possibly other courses or assignments as needed by the school.

Minimum Qualifications
Required qualifications include a master's degree at the time of appointment in advertising, public relations, communications or another field relevant to the classes taught. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud - specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and working knowledge of graphic design for communication, blog management and video editing.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include three years of college-level teaching experience and five years of professional advertising or PR agency experience.
