POSITION OBJECTIVE: Reporting to the Campus President, the Dean of Business and Management provides leadership for the College's business disciplines and programs, including the Associate and Bachelor's programs and programs in business administration, supervision and management, paralegal studies, technology management and accounting. Accordingly, the Dean leads a team of Associate Deans of Business at all Broward campuses to foster innovative academic/workforce programs and ensure student success and completion. In order to succeed in these efforts, the Dean must be an energetic and conscientious leader broadly familiar with issues in higher education and with strong linkages to the business community. The Dean must also be able to lead a team in strategic planning, program development, stewardship and resource development and the cultivation of multidisciplinary industry partnerships. The Dean also represents the College on related Boards that will promote external visibility to all relevant constituencies, including prospective students, recruiters, and other educational and business organizations, and alumni. The Dean in collaboration with the Associate Deans is accountable for ensuring academic integrity, compliance with the faculty contract, appropriate credentials for teaching faculty, and the achievement of the College's institutional effectiveness goals. All work supports the College's mission and is in accordance with established strategic goals and objectives, policies and procedures. MINIMUM EDUCATION: A Master degree in Business Administration is required. Doctorate degree is preferred. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/TRAINING 8 years of relevant experience in a related field is required.
