Find more information on the School of Education. *What your key responsibilities will be:* The Executive Assistant to the Dean works closely with the Dean on confidential faculty and personnel matters and attends high-level meetings with and on behalf of the Dean and understands the need for discretion and confidentiality on all matters. This position oversees, monitors, and coordinates projects for the Dean with three Associate Deans, other professional-level personnel, faculty, and staff. Executive Support 50% * Collect pertinent information for the Dean in anticipation of meetings and events. * Key contact for faculty and staff in the School regarding CU and School of Education policies. * Prepare correspondence for the Dean, organizes and compiles agendas and reports, and manages time-sensitive projects. * Collect data for the annual faculty and research faculty salary review processes. * In consultation with the Dean and the CU Foundation, assure that the School is in compliance with donor intent when disbursing foundation funds. * Provide oversight on behalf of the Dean of the following School of Education functions: - Budget - Payroll - School of Education Special Events - Media Operations - Student Scholarships Faculty Affairs 25% * Coordinate Faculty Affairs processes for the School of Education, including but not limited to, recruitment and hiring of faculty; reappointment, promotion, and tenure; post-tenure review; and sabbatical leaves. * Coordinate hiring processes for all School of Education research faculty. * Prepare contract letters for the Dean's signature for all faculty titles. Human Resources 25% * Coordinate Human Resources processes for the School of Education, including but not limited to, recruitment and hiring of all personnel in the School of Education; performance planning/evaluation of all staff; annual performance evaluations of tenure-track and research faculty. * Prepare contract letters for the Dean's signature for all graduate assistant appointments. --- *What we can offer:* Salary commensurate with experience. Minimum Qualifications: *What We Require* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Two or more years of comparable professional experience in higher education or similar settings specifically providing high level administrative support
